Privacy notice
This describes what this website collects, why, and who processes it. It covers the website only. The firm's handling of client records is governed separately by professional confidentiality obligations and by your engagement letter.

What this website collects
This site has no accounts, no logins, and no shopping function. The same short inquiry form appears on the home page and the contact page. It asks for:
- Your name
- A telephone number
- Your preferred time to be called
- A general service category
- A short message describing what you need
- An email address, which is optional and which you can leave blank
That is the whole list. We ask for the minimum needed to call you back about your enquiry. If you would rather not use the form at all, telephone the office at (978) 750-9004.
How we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or share it for anyone else's marketing. Submitting the form does not add you to a mailing list, because this website does not operate one.
Who processes form submissions
When you press Send, your browser sends the form fields over an encrypted HTTPS connection to Formspree, Inc. Formspree screens the submission for spam, keeps a temporary dashboard copy, and sends a notification to the firm. Formspree states that its service is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Its handling of that information is also covered by the Formspree privacy policy.
No firm email address is published anywhere on this website. Form submissions are routed to the office internally, so there is no address on these pages for anyone to harvest or impersonate.
Anti-spam measures
The form includes a hidden field that real visitors never see (a honeypot), and a short interactive human check that has to be completed before the form will send. Formspree also applies automated spam screening. The website's own human check records only that the check was completed in a browser by a person.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Pirsch Analytics to count visits and understand which pages and referral
sources are useful. Pirsch is loaded from api.pirsch.io on each page. It does
not receive the content of the inquiry form, which is sent separately to Formspree only
when you press Send.
Pirsch describes its service as cookie-free. It creates a website-specific daily visitor identifier from the IP address, browser user-agent, date, and a private salt. Pirsch states that it does not store the IP address and cannot use that identifier to recognize someone for more than 24 hours or across unrelated websites. Its statistics can include the page path, referral and campaign details, language, visit time, browser, operating system, approximate country or city, device type, and screen size. See the Pirsch privacy policy.
The Boyer & Company website does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not run advertising trackers, social media pixels, or session-recording tools. The embedded Google Map on the contact page is the separate external service described below. Like any website, the hosting provider also records standard server request logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability under the host's own policy.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site are stored with the website and served by the website's hosting provider. Loading the fonts does not connect your browser to Google Fonts or another font service.
Map and links to other sites
The contact page contains an embedded Google Map. Loading that page causes your browser to connect to Google, which receives normal request information such as your IP address and browser details under Google's own policies. The directions link also opens Google Maps. Any secure-upload link the firm later sends you privately is operated under that service's privacy policy rather than this website notice.
Retention
Pirsch keeps aggregate website statistics in the firm's Pirsch account. Pirsch states that the daily visitor identifier cannot recognize a visitor for more than 24 hours, and the firm can delete the analytics data from the account.
The current Formspree plan keeps submission history in its dashboard for up to 30 days. A notification delivered to the firm's email system may remain there longer when needed to respond and keep a reasonable record of contact. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the information is thereafter held as part of the firm's client records under the firm's ordinary record retention practices, not under this website notice.
Security
The website and form submission connection use encrypted HTTPS. Access to the Formspree dashboard and the notification inbox is limited to authorized users. This form is not a document-upload service. If sensitive documents are needed after the office speaks with you, the office will provide private secure-upload instructions directly.
Your choices
Using the form is optional. You can call the office instead and give us nothing in writing at all. If you have used the form and would like the submission removed, ask us and we will delete it.
Children
This website is intended for adults seeking professional accounting services and is not directed at children.
Changes to this notice
If what the site collects or how it is processed changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
